| Berkley Girl is a clothing store for teen girls in Manhattan. The focus of the store is to be a "girl's best friend" by providing friendly service, high quality clothing, lots of candy (bazooka, gummi bears) and a welcoming environment for a young girl. The stores are located on the Upper West Side and Upper East Side of Manhattan, and we are committed to making a positive impact on the community. Therefore, we are continually asking for community input and involvement to help with the development of the store.
A Berkley Girl focus group currently meets once every three months. There are about ten girls in the group (ages 8 to 14), and their photos are displayed on our community board within the store. The Berkley Girl focus group was established prior to the opening of the store, and it is a key factor to our success. Mothers in the neighborhood also play an important role in the development of the store. They are constantly providing us with new ideas and resources. Thus, ultimately we hope Berkley Girl becomes the ultimate "tween boutique" due to our strong involvement in the community.
